The Black History Club at Wiregrass 'The Ranch' is promoting cultural awareness through a host of planned activities to celebrate Black History Month
One of the culminating events of Black History Month is the Poetry SLAM with this year's theme, 'Diversity Rules!' Students and staff, including Principal Robyn White, will share poems about the meaning of diversity and its importance to building unity. Starting with fourth period at 10:30 a.m., with a break between 11:12 a.m. and 12:10 p.m., students and staff will report to the gym to read poetry.
