DESCRIPTION:Make your own greeting cards\, postcards\, limited edition prints\, and more!\n\n\n\nLimited to 6 participants.\n\nJoin instructor Ava Larkin and take a deep dive into the art of Letterpress Printing.\n\nIn this 6-hour class participants will be introduces to and gain first-hand knowledge of:\n\n	Letterpress terminology\n	Font - sizes & styles\n	Identifying Printing Presses\n	Layout\n	Locking up type\n	Operating Platen and Proof Presses\n	Hand Inking techniques\n	And More!\n\nParticipants will have the opportunity to use both the platen and proof presses\, experiment with various colors of ink and hand-inking techniques\, play with layering\, print with lead and wood type\, and work with paper of various sizes\, weights and composition. There will be a 30 minute optional break. Food and drink are allowed\, but are not permitted in active work areas and must remain in the front lounge or in your locker.
