DESCRIPTION:Fabric Arts Open Build \n\nLAND O' LAKES LIBRARY \n\n2818 Collier Pkwy\, Land O' Lakes\, FL 34639 \n\nWednesday\, August 14\, 2024\, 3:00pm - 5:00pm \n\nParticipants will be able to work on their own projects related to sewing\, weaving\, knitting\, crocheting\, die cut paper crafts\, etc. This activity is intended for ages 18 years &amp\; older or ages 9 years & older with an accompanying guardian. In general\, participants will need to bring their own materials. We can help with simple repairs or assist with new projects. At this time\, we have materials available to make simple weavings\, reusable napkins\, and other small projects. A volunteer will be available to assist with sewing machines. You can also make an appointment for a beginner sewing lesson. All Makerspace activities require registration\, closed-toe shoes\, and completed Foundry Waiver Safety Playbook forms. These can be acquired at the Service Desk or read and printed from our website. Registration required.
