DESCRIPTION:East Pasco Amateur Radio Society (Dade City) will be operating a radio station at the Withlacoochee State Trail on US301. We will be set up with a low band radio and a wire antenna. The goal of this event is to make contacts with other stations that are out there setup in State Parks. We will demonstrate Ham radio and its operations with the minimum. Battery-Radio-Antenna. This is Emergency communications at its best. When the cell and data networks are down Amateur radio will get through.
