Expectations - Available at least once a year for 3 consecutive days to volunteer to help others in your community after a major disaster like a hurricane.* - Participate in training for roles to help people with emergency sheltering\, meal delivery and other essentials before\, during and after a disaster. - A personal drive to make your community stronger and safer for everyone in need. The Red Cross provides in-person and virtual training for various disaster relief roles as a shelter volunteer. Help your community engage in its ability to prepare for\, respond to and recover from emergencies.
