DESCRIPTION:SOLD OUT  BUT THE FUN ISN'T! \n\nOnline registration is closed\, but you can still join us on race day! Come out and support Pasco County Parks\, Recreation\, and Natural Resources while helping spread the word about the PAIR Program.\n\n\n\nYou're welcome to participate in our untimed 5K Fun Run walk it\, jog it\, dance it! Since the event is officially sold out\, medals are no longer available\, but the smiles and good vibes are guaranteed.\n\n\n\nA $10 registration fee will be collected and donated directly to Pasco Adaptive and Inclusive Recreation (PAIR). Every step you take helps make recreation more inclusive for all!\n\n \n\nThe Turtle Trot 10k & 5k is held at SunWest Park in Hudson. The course takes you on a paved hiking path around old salt mines. If you've never been to SunWest Park\, you're in for a treat!  Participants may run or walk any distance.\n\n\n\nProceeds of this event will go to the Pasco County Parks\, Recreation and Natural Resources Adaptive and Inclusive Programming (PAIR). The PAIR program's mission is to enrich the lives of our diverse community by offering inclusive and adaptive programming within our county parks and recreation system ensuring individuals of all abilities have access to recreational opportunities\, fostering a sense of belonging\, empowerment\, and well-being for everyone.\n\n\n\nThe 5th Annual Turtle Trot is in loving memory of Angela Fagan\, Program Manager - Community and Outreach at Pasco County Parks Recreation and Natural Resources Department\, whose life was cut short due to complications of the COVID-19 virus.
